I saw this article about Drew Barrymore giving $1 million dollars to feed children in Kenya.  Then I saw some of the comments from people saying,

"What about America's starving children?"  and "Keep your money here."

I have never been to Kenya BUT neither have these people.  Yes, there are starving children in America and we should be taking care of them.  But, the children in America are not in an all out war.  They do not have, literally, dirt  under their feet and possibly no caregivers at all.

And, most importantly, they deserve any chance at survival they are given.

Go Drew for giving so freely to a cause you believe in.

If you know of an American organization that gives "our" children food, by all means give money to it.  But, remember, that the children in Kenya need help too.
