"That ain't no Etch-A-Sketch!"
I rented the movie Juno (the link works, you gotta scroll down) a couple of weeks ago from Redbox. I'd heard it was funny but I didn't really know what it was about.
Around the time I was renting it, Redbox started selling used movies for $7. When I saw this, I perused the available movies. Juno was among them. But then I realized that if I was going to buy the movie, I would want it in it's original packaging, not in some lame Redbox case (sorry Redbox).
So, I didn't buy it.
I watched the movie. I laughed my head off. I went to bed.
The next day, I religiously returned the movie before 9pm. I could have bought it then but I still didn't.
A week went by and I was still thinking about the movie. I wanted to see it again. So, I went back to Redbox, but they were all rented out. No problem, I could just buy it for $7. Nope, they were all out of those too!
It's been almost three weeks now and I still haven't bought this movie! I am so mad at myself for not having bought it for $7 when I had the chance! I want the movie but I can't bring myself to pay $20 for it! I am a $15 or less movie-girl.
So, I started looking online... Hubby says this is a fluke... no registration or nothing required; weird! It's not the same as being vegged-out on the couch but I've gotten my fix. I've already watched it twice. Obsessive much?! Lol.
Anyway, I know I'm dating myself, but this movie is par with the movie Heathers; remember Heathers?! My most favorite movie of all time (you'll soon discover I have hundreds of "favorite movies of all time," but o well)! Napoleon Dynamite and Little Miss Sunshine are of the same ilk. It's definitely a cult flick, you'll either love it or hate it; no in between. Honest blog!
Watch it. Love it. Hate it. Whatever. But, do me a solid, at least admit it's funny!
The Spanish word of the day is risa (laughter), rhymes with Pisa (roll your R-rrrrr). I love this video clip.

Juno is a favorite of mine. I watched the movie with my sister and she loved it too. Hopefully she picked something from the film. not getting pregnant at a very young age. ;D
