This makes me want a pet turtle so much! Mind you, I suspect the dog would think we got him a new toy. So maybe we'll hold off for now
Almost as if on cue, the sweet little furball meandered into my office as I was typing it. His ears must have been burning knowing that I was thinking of him.
I edited this post a little to give you some perspective. When I stopped the car suddenly to take a picture of this turtle, it stuck it's tongue out at me!! I thought it was funny how angry it got.
He's tiny! What a colorful shell he has. Great photos!

That painted turtle is soooooo precious. Our Adi (beagle dog) has a turtle friend, she told about it in 'Adi's meme" which is linked at the top of my sidebar for the link of my blog linked above.
Her turtle friend is a wild on who lives down by the creek.
