Welcome to the first official week of Favorite iPhone Application, Monday Meme.

This week will be a free for all just because it's opening day.  Consequently, we will have weekly themes for application downloads. 

Here is the list of themes for the next month:

Since next week will officially be March, the month of Spring, the theme for March 1 will be "Apps for the Great Outdoors."
March 8th, the theme will be "Ridiculous, who makes this stuff up, Apps."  This one will be a recurring theme.
March 15th, the theme will be "Apps related to food."
March 22nd, the theme will be "Apps for keeping healthy."
and March 29th, the theme will be "Fun Apps for kids (who shouldn't be on our phones in the first place!)."

One of my favorite iPhone applications for the iPhone is TwitBird.  I like that I can have, at my beck and call, the ability to Twitter whenever and wherever I am...  I like the application.  It allows me to see the number of followers I have and it downloads some tweets for me to view.  It's easy to use.  What I'm not really fond of is that I get charged a text fee every time I use it.  I use Twitter because it's free.  It's not that important, however, that I tweet my latest thoughts at a charge.
