So much responsibility, so late at night

My friends call me the sleep Nazi because I am, well..., a Nazi about my kids bedtimes.  During nap times, I've been known to miss an event all together in order not to miss their nap.

Truth be told, however, as they get older, and particularly with the second child, this rule has relaxed some... but for the most part, I am a firm believer in sleep.

Having said that, you would think that I would follow my own rule, yes?

Well, you'd be dead wrong.  See, night time is my time... away from kids, work, dishes, laundry.  It's my time, to do what I wish.  That implies that it's a fun time.  Yet, that's not always the case.

Now, my night time has become "another" responsibility... I must blog, I must put in Avon orders, I must update the website, I must. I must, I must.  That is simply too much responsibility for so late at night, don't you agree?!

So, tonight instead of playing Boggle for you - I know I've become so predictable - I will simply post about my sleep deprived evenings and go to bed.  I will play Boggle tomorrow, when I am more bright eyed, but perhaps not so bushy tailed, because tomorrow is another day, filled with its own responsibilities for the mere fact that it's a Thursday.

So, is anyone interested in buying some Avon?!

Oh, how I can relate! Ever since the internet and email and now blogging, I've spent too many (wasted) wee morning hours in my desk chair staring at this screen. Now, I must get up and put the clean sheets on my bed so I can sleep tonight! Have a great day!
